PROJECT ELIMU UPDATE

BREAKING NEWS!

Our March 7th performance of Mary Poppins at the Cary Arts Center, sponsored in part by a grant from the Town of Cary, NC raised $4300 in ticket profit and donations. We are so grateful to our generous audiences and wanted to share with you the important, life-giving impact your donations are making!

During this challenging time world-wide, the young dancers in Kibera at our partnership program, Project Elimu, have been especially hard hit. The $4300 we raised is being used to provide food for their families, 90% of whom have lost employment due to the intense lockdown in their community. I challenge our families today to multiply the good we have already started.

$10 provides food for a family for a week — beans, flour, rice, basic staples to cook with at prices much lower than what we have here in the States. How many more families can we help?
